Like a Thief

Synopsis
Jesus has returned for His second coming! But first, He has to go to high school? When His mother, Mary, hears a news segment featuring the fringe parent group, The Mother Frontier, declaring that God is not allowed in public schools, she worries she won't find a school willing to enroll her Son. Luckily, in the same news segment the Mother Frontier announced the grand opening of the Mosaic Classical Charter Academy, where God is back in the classroom, and enrolls Him there.
Once Jesus meets the other students, who are the children of the Mother Frontier members, He quickly realizes their values don't align with what He taught in His ministry. In fact they seem more aligned with the authorities that persecuted Him! He worries His peers might become His persecutors if He says too much. So, for His own safety, He hides His identity. But, the anonymity also presents an opportunity He has never had before as a career-messiah: a chance to fit in and be a normal kid — if He can put up with His classmates' attitudes.
Tensions rise as the charter school's strict rules, and the contempt among students, make it clear they are more in need than ever of the very messiah they'd persecute. Much to Jesus' frustration, Mary, in spite of her own values, considers joining the Mother Frontier. The mothers offer her an opportunity she has never had before as a career-model-woman: how to get what she wants by spreading controversies.
Each tempted by what this place can offer them, the question becomes how much will be lost by the time one of them decides enough is enough.
